Google Ads · BT Web

Show up first when people search for what you sell.

Google Ads puts you at the top of the results the moment someone types what you do. You pay when they click, not when they scroll past. I set the campaign up, run it, and keep cutting the waste out of it.

01 · The problem

Most ad budgets leak money quietly.

Google will happily spend everything you give it. Making that spend turn into actual customers is a different job.

Wasted spend

"We tried ads and burnt through the budget."

Paying for clicks that were never going to buy. People in the wrong suburb, people after a job, people hunting for something free. It all comes out of the same pot.

No time for it

"I'm not learning another system."

Running ads properly is a job of its own, and the settings Google switches on by default are built to spend your money, not to protect it.

Wrong leads

"The enquiries we got were useless."

Getting traffic is the easy part. Getting the traffic that actually books, buys or rings you is the part that takes work.

There is a real difference between someone searching "plumbing tips" and someone searching "emergency plumber now". One is browsing, the other has their wallet out. Most business owners cannot tell the difference in their own ad account. I can.

02 · A real campaign

I tested this on my own family first.

Before taking on paying clients, I wanted proof my approach actually worked in the real world, not just in theory. So I used my brother's business, Little Hands Lab, as a real testing ground. Real budget, real risk, real numbers, no shortcuts.

Little Hands Lab is an Australian online shop selling handmade, personalised busy boards for children. I ran its Google Shopping campaign for nine months, from 15 May 2025 to 15 February 2026. These are the actual results.

2.35x Back for every $1 spent

Being straight with you: it is my brother's business, and it is the only Google Ads campaign I have run so far. I am not going to dress that up as a client list. What it is, is a real campaign with real money on the line, and the dashboard is right here so you can check the numbers yourself.

Google Ads campaign dashboard for Little Hands Lab showing 4,443 clicks, 378,428 impressions, A$3,403.72 cost, 40 conversions and A$8,007.30 conversion value over 15 May 2025 to 15 February 2026

The campaign screen straight off Google Ads, for the full nine months. $3,403.72 spent, $8,007.30 back.

03 · What I would handle

Somebody searches at nine at night. You are the first name they see.

Somebody searches "emergency plumber near me" at nine at night, your name is the first thing they see, they ring you. That is the whole idea. Everything on this list is what has to happen behind the scenes for that one phone call to land.

You do not touch any of it. There is no account to learn, no dashboard to log into, and no weekly report full of words you have to look up.

Before BT Web I spent around two years studying Google Ads and working hands-on with real campaigns. That is where all of this comes from.

04 · How the money works

No management fee while we prove it.

How it works

I don't charge a management fee upfront. You cover the ad spend directly, and that goes straight to Google, not to me. I set up and run the whole campaign for free while we prove out results together. No service fee during this period.

How this helps you

Almost no risk. You are only ever paying for the ads themselves, and you get in front of customers who are already searching for what you sell.

What happens after

If the campaign performs, we talk about moving to an ongoing paid arrangement. Most likely a flat fee tied to actual results, sales or booked jobs, not a blind monthly retainer. If it doesn't perform, you have lost nothing but the ad spend itself, and you keep all the data either way.

Put plainly: if the ads make you money, we move to a result-based fee. If they don't, we stop, and you keep all the data and the new customers either way.

You never pay me to find out whether this works. You only pay me once it already has.

Want to see what this could look like for your business?

Tell me what you sell and where you sell it, and I will tell you honestly whether Google Ads is worth running for you. If I don't think it is, I will say so rather than take the work.

Or call me directly: 0422 361 125. I reply within 24 hours.

Sending paid clicks to a site that does not convert is the fastest way to waste money, and I would rather tell you that than take the work.
